Students explore their environment through well-planned hands-on experiences that promote the exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering,  Art, Mathematics skills and develops critical thinking. Because different children learn in different ways and at different rates, we use a blend of traditional as well as educational technology tools to facilitate learning. Assessment of learning is based on the Desired Results and Developmental Profile,  observation and other on and off-line tools.  The California Preschool Learning Foundations and Frameworks guide both academic and social emotional structure.

 Students are supported by responsive adults who help them construct an understanding of the world and their role in it, through participation in developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences.  


  1. We align our programs and tools with the elementary schools to support your child from PreK to 3rd grade and beyond.
  2. We transfer information about your child's academic and social emotional capabilities to their Kindergarten teacher.
  3. We help you establish family to school connections from the star‚Äčt.

We focus on Developmentally Appropriate Learning

Teaching takes place in a variety of formats;  large group, small groups, play and experimentation in learning centers, and participation in daily routines.  Teachers provide direct instruction in both large and small group settings, as well as facilitating hands-on exploration to support the development of critical thinking and problem solving.

Each format provides a different opportunity for teaching, learning, and discovering together.  Use of a variety of  strategies and facilitated activities that are developmentally appropriate, promotes the health and development of the whole child.
